We help local people to enjoy walking in one of the of the most stunning and interesting areas in England. From the Countryside to our Industrial heritage who could want for more?!
We organise regular walks led by our friendly volunteers, we feel that it is a great way to explore the great outdoors and improve our physical and mental well being.
You are welcome to come along and join us, a pair of walking boots or sturdy shoes is all that’s needed apart from waterproof clothing due to our temperamental climate! On our day walks we have drink stops and generally take a packed lunch or snacks. Non-drivers are welcome on our walks and we will do our best to arrange transport for you. Please get in touch with the walk leader for details. (Please note that on some walks this in not always possible). In the event of bad weather please get in touch with the walk leader to confirm if the walk is going ahead.
We are a dog friendly group, however we advise to always contact the walk leader before the walk prior to bringing your four legged friend along. On all of our walks, dogs are the responsibility of their owner and all countryside rules must be followed especially regarding livestock.
